The photograph captures the aesthetics and technical equipment used in early post-war entertainment in Munich. Taken during the shooting of the film "The Secret of the Red Cat" (1947-1949) in Munich. The film was shot shortly after the war (shooting day 253 documented) and was only released in 1949. The film reels were elaborately processed by hand.
